Why Do I Get Indigestion Every Night

o11 - it does not point the finger people to other - but can you write about it

The writer wants to achieve more, both story and characters for the reader real as possible appear. A character is successful, especially whenever the reader wishes that these people were actually . To those living developing characters, it helps to be based on real people

MAN SHOW WITH YOUR FINGER ON OTHER PEOPLE -. BUT YOU WRITE ABOUT YOU

Sit into a café or to another place busy, you can also just look out the window and wait until someone passes by.

Choose one person you particularly catches the eye . This may be someone with an obvious course or someone who seemingly goes unnoticed. Try to describe, for any reason you g ERAD have chosen this person and what you noticed about her. Would call this their most outstanding property ? If not, what is it?

then attempts to guess by their appearance, what they could do professionally, whether it has family or single is and what Hobbies you can imagine for them. This contrasts are not only allowed but encouraged. A woman with a severe bun, spectacles and costume could, for example, in their free time especially like to rock concerts go, etc.

If you have answered these questions, you'll find that you automatically have some idea of their character have. Make yourself to a few notes and then try to describe your character as you use the physical characteristics to describe the character traits.

OO9 - ni-na- nackedei

Experienced writers know when a character is fully developed and when not. Many people are convinced that the character then develops a kind life of its own. In order to learn enough about the character that happens, there are many different ways. One of them I put before you in the following. . With this exercise, you can also develop entirely new characters

NI-NA-nackedei

Although it sounds odd: trying your character you naked present. Follow your intuition and it will answer following questions:

How has your character feels when he is naked?

If he is ashamed :

Why? Nudity is something very intimate. Maybe your character has something to hide? What could this be? Or perhaps he is afraid even from the eyes of others? Why? Is it important what others think of him? Why (not)? Is he always to himself and his words or does he sometimes things just to please others? In the latter case: In what situations he is doing and how far he would go there?

So you can shimmy up further and further along and develop your own questions .

If he runs around so like :

Why? Nudity is something very intimate, that carries your character to the outside. Where he takes this self-awareness? Are there exceptions to this self-awareness? Would he make, for example, for a Aktfotoshooting available? If no, where is the line? Get out your character in other people from the same view of intimacy, by the same limits? Does he know how to behave or is it sometimes brash, offensive? Maybe even on purpose? Why? What is its purpose?

Here you can always continue to shimmy forward and develop their own questions .

oo7 - allow? authentic puke.

One of each story next to the protagonist and the antagonist , the villain. So that it arrives at the reader as authentic puke, a little more to it as "the protagonists do not like the halt" or "is in the public schools have already". Small details can help to ensure that the antagonist simply because of a very specific practice seems unappealing and thus is authentic in its viciousness.

PERMIT? AUTHENTIC puke.

Even before the reader knows that we are dealing with the mortal enemy of the protagonist, we can give him a little hint a sign that this character is not to be trusted. To achieve this
describe something that's widely regarded as disgusting or disgusting . This could, for example, the popeln in the nose, smack, snoring, and so on. Give your property such practice or antagonists and before him is the antipathy in his face.

for inspiration in terms of disgusting things just ask friends or relatives what they perceive as disgusting - or simply ask you to conduct yourself that you can not suffer;)

oo6 - Christmas + Hanukkah = Chrismukkah

is not always easy in Plotplanung to falling into clichés . But just between two major events of the plot can sometimes suffer from lack of imagination . Therefore, the following is a Exercise can help small Plotlochstopfung more original that works not safe for all stories, but also with regard to the development of characters.

CHRISTMAS + Hanukkah = Chrismukkah

We celebrate each year: Easter, St. Nicholas, Christmas, New Year's Eve. Each family celebrates becoming a little different, each developed other rituals and traditions that are passed to the children.

Imagine your character in your story would be just before one of these holidays and have it all their own, perhaps even special rituals. What would it mean? Would he want to unite the religions of his parents as Seth Cohen from OC with "Chrismukkah" or he would make Thanksgiving an eating marathon as Lorelai and Rory in Gilmore Girls ?

for inspiration in terms of unusual rituals is a search on Google for traditions of other countries. Very unique holiday rituals can find you by adding durchblätterst the appointment calendar, pick a random day and the entries for this Day, eg put firmly as an annual Christmas ritual.

for the development of characters, this exercise can help to give the character a little Holidays-Tick more originality.

oo5 - sing me a song and I'll tell you what you

The topic selection (especially for short stories) can often small, everyday things of creativity helping hand. Basically, you just have to unlock only eyes and ears and write down what you notice. An example of such everyday creativity Motor you can try it for yourself below. Have fun!

SING ME A SONG AND I tell you WHAT YOU WRITE

What is your favorite song ? It need not be your all-time favorite song that you hear 10 times a day, you just a song that you like just good. Can you choose between several do not take one from which you like the message, the content very well.
Look at the lyrics. What is it about? What is singing? And above all, what touches up on this song? Why it is one of your favorite songs? can in this way you will find not only a topic for your story, but directly a sense, a basic set mood of your story.
Do you like the song more the melody, so much the text, trying to put into words what the melody triggers in you, what feelings it evokes in you and try to imagine that a character feels the same and build on a story on.

course you can here the song can also be integrated directly into your history, both the general mood as well as a special element of the story, because maybe it has in connection with the song with your character something quite special to you?
